Installing CS prop with hydraulic governor

Hi all,

I am about to install CS prop and hydraulic governor on 915 iS engine. Engine is configuration 3.

I am wondering if those highlighted parts on picture CS1 has to be removed or I should keep them as it is on the picture CS2.

I checked all manuals but could not find anything specifically mentioned regarding that.

Please look at the Rotax 915iS Heavy Maintenance Manual section 72-10-00 Page: 10 & 11- https://www.rotax-owner.com/pdf/MMH_915iAC24Series.pdf

NOTE: Torsion shaft (with oil groove) part no. 837201 is planned for use in ALL engine configurations. When changing configuration 3 to 2, ensure the torsion shaft is correct.

NOTE: Torsion shaft (without oil groove) part no. 837200 can still be used in configuration 3 with the use of Hex. screw part no. 841150 and sealing washer (with oil hole) part no. 827470.

Please review SI-915 i-009 Change of the gearbox configuration for ROTAX® Aircraft Engine Types 915 i A, 912 i, 912, and 914 (Series) to see if it applies to your engine.
