Decreased performance of B generator on Rotax 915 IS

Hello,Hello,

I am using a Rotax 915 IS engine and have noticed that the performance of the B generator has decreased. It is now producing 8 amps less than normal. Additionally, when all consumers are turned on, the battery begins to discharge. Has anyone else experienced this issue and if so, how did you fix it?

Farkas...not enough information here. 8 amps less than what? How much is your load?

The system generates 3 phase power (you have 3 wires coming to each regulator that produce 3 phase power) Look for a failed leg by checking the output of each. If I was to guess you have a failed connector to the regulator or a failed leg in the system. You need to locate which. One is easy to fix, the other not so much.

Thank you for your response. To provide more information, previously when all consumers were turned on, the generator was charging at +2 amps. Now, it is discharging at -2 amps. Do you have any further suggestions based on this information?
