MOGAS with ethanol and Permatex Aviation Form A Gasket

If your concerned about the compatibility of "Permatex Aviation FormAGasket #3" why not use the Permatex/Locktite automotive equivalent?

Permatex® Form-A-Gasket® No. 2 Sealant once applied, develops a hard, semi-flexible sealant by solvent evaporation. Dry times will vary with temperature, humidity and gap. The product retains effective properties in contact with water, ethylene glycol, gasoline, motor oil, transmission fluid and sea water.

In looking at the technical data sheet of the Aviation Permatex it suggest that exposure to aromatic solvents is not a good idea.  While not 100% sure I would not recommend it when there is 10% ethanol in the fuel.  The question perhaps should be sent to the distributor of the material where you are and perhaps they can give you a better answer.

Juan is looking for a thread sealer not a gasket maker.

Unless he is working on a certified aircraft, the aviation specific (likely overpriced) products are not necessary.

I and many others have successfully used Loctite 567 for thread sealing on mogas (w/ ethanol), air, brake, and coolant fittings on a variety of experimental aircraft.  As always, be sure to check the manufacturer's product data sheet for suitability in your particular application.
