Hi!

Is there any list or someone can send me please a list of replacements parts needed to do a 1.000 hours gear box inspection in a Rotax 912 ULS? (assuming there is no any problem found).

Thank you and safe flying!

    Hi Andres,

    Without an inspection, it is unlikly that a comprehensive list of replacement parts can be generated.

    Seems to me that someone who is capable of dismantling/assembling a gear box & inspecting/checking components for wear, will also be able to determine what needs to be replaced and what doesn't.

    Top of this web page;

    Support Bulletins - Rotax Aircraft Manuals - Current Engines - Engine Type - 912ULS - Document Type - MMH -Search Database.

     Maintenance Manual Heavy, Chapter 72-10-00, Propeller Gearbox.

    Alternatively; Remove propeller &  gearbox - send to Rotax service provider to do the work.

    Good luck!

    When my gearbox needs the required inspection, I plan to send it out to a shop that does these things all the time, knows what to look for, and has the tools, parts & experience to do it right.

    Hi Skot

    I see you are in Wisconsin.  Very near you is APS, one of the independent Service Centers for the USA in Burlington WI. Contact them, they will look after you.
