Radio shack is a good source. The heat sink paste used for spark plugs is the same stuff used for heat sinks in electronic equipment. I've been using it for several years.

California Power Systems also has it. Many electronic stores carry it. Make sure you buy the right stuff.
Here type this into your search engine and it wil give you lots of places to buy.

Has anybody had any dealings with the nano silver thermal compound, it seems to be a better compound than the stuff Rotax recommend as it is a conductive heat transfer paste. temp range from -50c to +240c

Surly this has got to be better as it solves the insulating problem of the silicone paste, and it isn't expensive.

    Mark,

I've never used the nanosilver compound myself, but some of my computer geek friends swear by it. After I told them what it was for, they did caution me that there are two nanosilver compounds out there. One has a silicon based grease to carry the nanosilver and the other uses a silicon based adhesive as a carrier. They said to be sure to use the grease type.
