Greeting all.

I'm flying an AutoGyro Calidus Gyroplane with a 912ULS (580 hours on hobbs) and need some help.

I returned last week from a trip where the aircraft was trailered. Upon return, the engine rpm was found to be outputting 5400 rpm instead of full takeoff power during the takeoff roll.

All visual inspections have failed to locate a cause for the reduced power.

Mag checks are smooth and consistent with one another. The plugs were found to be in good condition (new approx. 75 hours ago and replaced during the inspection).

There seems no obvious cause for the problem - has anyone else experienced a similar issue?

Thanks in advance for the help.

    Hi Shannon,

What was your take off rpm? (5800)
I would put a set of vacuum gauges on and take a look to see if both carbs are getting the same amount of fuel and double check to make sure both throttle arms are opening all the way. maybe the throttle arm got bent during your transport.

That has been done and no change in condition. There was no pressure on the engine or components during transport. Thank you for the reply.
