That is your CHT probe. It just unscrews and screw the new one in. No loss of fluid because it just screws into the head and not into the coolant passage.

I'm out of town so I don't have the part number handy, but just look in the parts manual and you'll find it.

Broke off or slipped off? Since the CHT probe has a "Push-On" elecrtical connector, the connector may have just slipped off of the mounting post. See if the original mounting post is still on the probe -- it's hard to see in the photo.

I put mine back on with dab high temp silicon never happened again.

You know what, after looking at his picture again it does look like it just slipped off. These connections should not be floppy loose. Put a little tension or crimp on it with a pair of pliers to make sure it has a solid contact and feels somewhat firm.
