    Tanks Bill,

    Now I´ve the comfort to go ahead with the by-pass.

    About the pump quality, as you said it is only a backup and it´s used only on takeoffs and landings lets say 10 minutes per hour of flight. The one I´m replacing has 7 years off good operation and because of that and for not changing to much the installation I opt to replace with a new one just in case.
