Gearbox gears & overload clutch

Please, tell me how do I know if a gear set is "wide" or "narrow" same for an overload clutch. I have one of each and want to know if I can put them to work together in my gearbox.

What Engine and Gearbox are we talking about?
Specifically, What engine do you have? Serial Number?
What is the Part number stamped on the Gearbox?

The gear set must also be matched. They should have identical serial numbers on the small and large gear.
