Hello, 582 users !, and especialy the users of "reversed 582" ( cylinder head down) .

I am very interested to have your feedbacks on following issue which seems quite common on 582 engines: mounted in Polaris FIB ( the flying boat )

The stator does not resist more than 40 hours or one year !!!
I bought my FIB Polaris brand new in july 2016 .The stator failed at only 46 h so I changed it. And now my engine has 75 h and I must change the stator again !!!

I know 2 other pilots who suffered the same issue with our FIB Polaris ( the Flying Boat) . We suspect that the problem may be due to the fact that on this aircraft the engine is fitted on reversed position ( cylinder head down ), So this posiiton could retain possible condensation inside the stator cage....... any opinion will be much appreciated , especially if someone can propose a solution to solve this problem !!!
