I have a 912ULS with an oil leak around the left front corner.  It's not anything obvious like a loose oil filter.  My question is has anyone used a UV additive in the engine oil to help locate a leak?

Many times this ooze type leak comes from the bottom of the valve cover. If you really want to pinpoint it then clean the area well. Then buy some Desenex Foot powder spray in a can. It is white and will stick to the area you spray. It will wash off later. Then go fly for 20 minutes and then land and take a look. The leak will stand out like a red flag against that white powder.
