Overhaul
Quick question , I am looking at a Piper Cherokee to buy while I’m working on my Rotax powered project plane . The engine Lycoming only has 890 hrs smoh , but that was back in 96 . Should this be a concern ? Thanks

Hi Jim
The engine is way over it's calendar time. Have a good pre-buy inspection done on the aircraft and engine looking for corrosion internally. See if they have kept it in annual also.
Cheers
