Updates to Forum Software...

I found the sort order off in other topics/sections so it would be great to have the default to Latest first (same as James Ott above) for all.

Thanks for updating and improving as needed. This is a valuable resource. I just re-upped my subscription. Well worth it. Keep up the good work.

When I try to view forum threads I cannot get beyond the 1st page.  At the bottom, the 'Next', "2" (or "3", "4" etc), "End" all I get is a mostly blank page with a pink border with red letters that say "Error Category not found".  What am I doing wrong?  For years I could keep going on to view all the pages of the thread.

It looks like you are coming in "sideways" from an old obsolete link cached in a search engine somewhere. (those should all fade away in a week or so) .  Also, if you have some older forum links bookmarked, you should delete them.

( The new forum links will never include "Catid=" )... try entering the forum from any "forum" link here on the website instead.

Or use the Forum's own "Search", instead of the site search...

PS: there is a quick fix to the "old forum links pagination issue", you can 'reset' a bad thread landing by clicking on the title of the top post:

( that will reload the page properly, and the navigation links will all function fine after that )

 Still trying to figure out how to read new posts in a particular forum since the last time I visited that forum. The Discover | Recent Topics seems to list all new posts in all forums. I'm only interested in a couple of the forums and I'd like to be able to determine whether there are any new unread posts in that forum since I last visited that forum then go directly to the first of the unread posts. How can I do that?
