I just posted this under General tech suggestions.......

Looking for info on your specific engine such as year manufactured?

Go to Support/Bulletins, Engine Configuration Search, then enter your engines serial number .

I just now found this after being a group member for 6 months.

Board Moderator, is there a way to Pin this topic? I know this question comes up a lot and is posted on almost all of the forums.

Or is this feature only available to paid members?

The year of manufacture and the TBO cannot be found in that section, as it only provides engine configuration information.

What most people are looking for is the date of manufacture for their engine, which, unfortunately, is not available to the public. We have requested that Rotax include this information in the engine serial number lookup tool; however, they have declined and chosen not to make it publicly accessible for unknown reasons.

As a result, we have to look up the manufacturing date for each customer inquiry manually. As you pointed out, we receive multiple requests each month, and it can be challenging to keep up. That said, this is a unique service we offer that no one else does, and we’re always happy to help however we can.

This is identical to what I get at Engine configuration search, is there another source I'm missing?

Something with actual MFG date? If so, may I get this info please. I know from the serial # that I have a 2000 hr TBO.

That’s exactly what we’re trying to explain; Rotax does not release the actual manufacturing date to the public, and we must look it up manually on a case-by-case basis.

We (Rotax-Owner) have special access and privileges that are not available to the general public. While we work in close partnership with the Rotax factory, we do not work for Rotax directly, nor do we receive subsidies, which is why we operate under a paid subscription model. We are an independent organization, but are granted unique access to internal information to support our role.

Therefore, to answer your question: No, there is no other platform available to find the manufacturing date of your engine, and based on the information we’ve received, there are currently no plans to make this information publicly accessible in the future.

Below is the information on your engine with S/N 6783870
