I will try and find the page on the westech web site....but the EGT is calibrated at 75f...it read inaccurate at lower or higher...it maybe reading 1200f in the winter but its really around 75f lower than indicated....

Thats how I understand it anyway....of course you may have an unconnected problem,

Are both gauges reading high by the same amount.

Ok found it on the Westach web site under Important...it to do with cold juntion temps....no real need to understand why just to be aware that at different OAT these gauges do give different reading....but it doesn't mean that the EGT gas is actually hotter,

    http://www.westach.com/instructions/2DA1.jpg

The air is more dense in cooler temps so more oxygen going into the engine so maybe a hotter burn...but cooler OAT does make a difference,

So are both of your EGTs going up by around the same figure.

    Nir,

If it's only the midrange that is high, Just raise the jet needle up by moving the needle clip down one notch. This will richen the mixture through the midrange and will lower the midrange EGTs. Raising the jet needle will not affect the full throttle mix or the idle mix. If your EGTs at full throttle are OK, you don't need to change the needle jet; just the needle position. If your EGTs at full throttle are high also, then you'll need to change the needle jet to a larger orifice. None of these changes will affect the idle. You can do that with the idle mixture screw.

It's a good idea to keep a couple of different sizes of needle jets on hand. Changing them is easy and often necessary with changing seasons.
