    Keep it simple!!

If your vacuum line ever develops a leak in flight or anything goes wrong, the fuel gets shut OFF and down you go.

Anything that has a failure mode that Shuts OFF the Fuel is a Bad Idea.

This may have been a good idea for use on leaky vintage motorcycles but it is a BAD idea for an aircraft.

This is just an accident waiting to happen.

The engine is installed in a dune buggy so the risk of a fuel cut off isnt problematic.
