I have recently rebuilt my carbs on my 582 and it will not run correctly on the factory settings for the mixture screw at all. It is completely flooding the engine every time. We turned the mixture screw all the way in with very good luck. The engine runs great at idle and all the way to about 3/4 throttle. Once you reach full throttle the engine will run great and then randomly start to surge, losing about 1,000 rpms. When we look into the carb bowls sometimes one carb bowl will be completely dry while the other is flooding over or the exact opposite will happen. I have bent the float arms to level again and we keep having this issue. Also, sometimes the bowls will be both overflowing with fuel but never have I seen both of them dry. We have brand new gaskets through out and brand new floats. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
