P-Lead Wiring With Toggle Switches

I have a pair of toggle switches in my aircraft and as far as I can tell, the kill wire from the ignition module is screened all the way from the connector in the engine bay all the way to the switch. The other terminal of the switch is just connected to a local chassis ground. The screen of the cable is connected to ground at the ignition module using a ring crimp under one of the two mounting screws.

Just in case you don't know - be sure to cage/guard your toggle switches against inadvertent operation.

And no, the impulse coupling does not apply. We don't have them, nor a mixture control. Even if the mag is "hot", A 912/914 UL/ULS will not start by simply hand moving the prop; it takes ~200 rpm for the mag to generate enough power to fire the ignition.
