Hi Michael,
I am curious about:
"New fuel hoses was pressed to the Banjo bolt..." and "....press fitting that was used was incorrect and had pressed the actual hose to the point where almost no fuel will get through."
I am having trouble visualising the type of pressed fitting and how it "..pressed the actual hose.."
Any chance of a photograph??

It's normal, also for my CT, that if you do not use a Electrical fuel pump you will have a slight PSI loss doing full power T/O. 2,6psi is no issue according to Rotax. If you do not have a Electrical fuel pump installed - you could consider this for extra safety.
Do you lose Power doing climb at 2,6psi?
The hoses are not orange, that is the fire protective sleeve on top. The hose is below. These are usually from Rotax and would not course a fuel supply issue, usually.
In my situation it was press fittings that was not from Rotax. They were longer than the Banjo bolt that they were pressed on too and caused the hose to be pressed closed.

Hello,
actually those hoses are indeed orange. It is what Rotax uses on certified engines. They are made out of silicone and do not have to be changed within the TBO of the engine. Not very cheap though..
Those hoses also do not come with any protective heat sleeve (the orange one that you would put over the regular black fuel hoses that need replacement every 5 years) - though I do not know why they do not provide any by default (we have now added some after the fact). The metall fittings are pressed on to the orange hoses and can not be removed. For the fuel pump housing you for example have then a screw on fitting directly for the mechanical fuel pump, instead of the "push the hose on to the barbed fitting" regular type.

All, the "orange" hose used by Rotax is on the fuel system that complies with certified standards. The outer skin of the hose is a special material and meets the fire resistant requirements (5 min at 2000 F) The underlying hose is different material, it is not a black "rubber" type. This type of hose is on condition based on your inspections. It has to be changed if cracked, rubbed into the inner hose or other damage. As long as no visible damage exists it may be reused to next inspection. Each hose has a metal band with serial number and is sold as an individual part in the IPC.
Cheers
