Thanks for the tip! Adding a screw sounds prudent. I was a bit skeptical that the safety wire would hold should the clamp loosen.

As an aside, I was right to question myself instead of the Rotax engineers. The stinger clamp bolt was actually the right size - it just looks to small. By the time the spring clamp is tight enough, there is the proper amount of thread. I will say though that is quite the challenge to get this clamp on 😂
