914 Case Fretting

My 1998 914 had a crack in the crankcase at around 700 hours. Discovered when searching for an oil leak and wasn’t able to burp any oil because pressure wouldn’t build because of it. Had LEAF do a short block on it with a new crankcase and have over 100 hours now trouble free.
