We're concerned about Oil Pressure fluctuation on our 912 ULS (not yet in service).

It fluctuates within limits but is distracting.

Has anyone found the (new) Rotax-supplied mushroom valve piston to have solved the problem?

    Hi Richard,

A couple of things may cause this.

Yes you should upgrade to the new style oil pressure regulator, plug screw, spring and cone.

A loose wire connection can cause this and a bad oil pressure sending unit.

If the pressure moves up and down with the throttle make absolutely sure you have a solid ground. I have had a few that had a ground, but it was a poor one. Going to a known solid ground fixed the problem.
