Fuel return using banjo bolt and restriction jet

I'm installing a return line from the carbs using the rotax banjo bolt with the restriction jet can i just T into the gascolator line or do I have to go straight to the tank thanks for any replies Roger

Hi Roger.

Since I don't have a gascolator, I teed into the fuel supply line prior to my fuel filter just after it passed through the fire wall. It has worked for a couple years and a hundred hours or. Any air bubbles will vent through the carb bowl vents.

These are my results; yours may vary. :-)

Owners have teed this in a couple of places, but the inlet side of the gascolator is a good place. It will recirculate that into cooler fuel and prior to the filter in the gascolator. My Flight Design CT is teed into the top of the gascolator.

the top of the gascolator is what I was thinking I dont have enough room to T off on the bottom thanks for the replies this forum is a great place to get answers thanks again ROGER

I have a Zodiac 601 HDS. We are installing leading edge wing tanks and a Rotax 912ULS. Each wing tank will have a facet fuel pump. Could we also send the return line to the top of the gascolator with this set up, even though the fuel will be pressurized? Thanks.
