Refer to the Operators Manual Section 5.

Maximum CONTINUOUS  Power is 5500 RPM at 27" MAP.

You can fly at this setting All Day Long.

Do not be surprised if 5500 is also WOT above 3000 ft.

5200 Rpm is about 80% power and a common power setting for long term operating if you are not in any hurry.

4200 RPM is about 50% Power and generally not recommended for long term operation due to the engine operating relatively cold and building up carbon.

I know this thread is from awhile ago but I am just starting to adjust my prop.. My prop is a 3 blade sensenich with the pin settings. when I got it the prop was set at 0 or 1. My top end speed has always seemed a bit low 104 MPH at 5500 (120 is the plane's max) and I recently went on a long cross country to OSH. #3 WOT was 5200 and easily got 110  I dropped it to #2 for the trip which gave me 107 at 5500 I understand balance for everyday flying but can the prop be adjusted for higher speed for longer trips? What would you say the minimum WOT can be ?

A follow up question is it ok to run at 5500 for long periods of time? Personally I like 5200 or 5300.
