Oil Presure

Hi all the last two flights I have just done in my sky ranger swift 912uls 346 hrs the oil pressure shots up to maximum on start up then settles back down to normal pressure no other issues or fluctuation during the flight all other gauges show normal working limits. any ideas

Maybe the sender. Try it a few more times and see if it settles down. If not do you have the newer style oil pressure plug screw and mushroom in or the old ball bearing and short stem plug screw?

Hi roger yes I do have the new type plug screw, I will monitor and let you know how I get on.

Hi roger still having problems with the oil pressure so I am going to replace with the new oil pressure plug screw and mushroom , can I replace it with out draining the oil or does it need an oil ,change ?
