It appears that the fuel pump wiring as shown in the 914 Installation Manual does not provide for automatic cutoff of the fuel pumps in the event of engine stoppage.

It seems to me that this would be important in the event of a crash.

I am considering wiring the main fuel pump to be run by the generator only, which would solve the problem for the main fuel pump. But as the auxiliary pump is normally used for takeoffs and landings, I would like a way for it to automatically shut down.

I would appreciate thoughts on this topic, including but not limited to how this problem is handled in the 912iS.
