How many hours on the plane?

Is it just one port that is Black?
All four? Just the two on one side?

    Agree! They should Not!

If all 4 are the same, the cause will be something that they all have in common.
Fuel and Air come to mind.

There might be, or at least used to be, something in the fuel that has left a residue on the manifold.

I will assume that the air intakes of both carburetors have Air Filters installed.
There should be a light pink coloration to the filter material. Not black!

Since you do not know the detailed history of the engine, it is possible that it has been flown at some time in the last 1000hrs without the filters in place and/or was used in an area with particularly polluted air.

Without a detailed maintenance record, it is going to be difficult to determine exactly why.

    Ok, I found following:
    1. Filters was black - just cleaning them
    2. Rough running was caused for sure (and I hope only) by following set of needles...!!.

I'm thinking what is this black something, some exhaust from cylinder or contamination from petrol?
