    Thanks for the great help. I was looking at the price of Rotax's tool... $522.00!! This will save me quite a bit of money. :-)

    I think I built this for about $15 - $20 years ago and that included the slide hammer. I got the 1" angle iron at Ace Aviation ( Ace Hardware :)).

    12" each piece. The wide opening towards the rear allows the prop flange to stay clear.

    Another question.. Mine has a constant speed prop and governor. I will need to disconnect the oil line from the governor to the oil pump. Will I need to pressurize the oil system after reinstalling the line and prop?

    Also, since I'm only doing this to reseal the gearbox, would it be possible to leave the prop attached to the gearbox and pull them both?
