Hello,
I'm Bernard Clausen, NGAero in Switzerland.
I have some Special Topic not specialy for pure flying Birds:

We want to use a Rotax 912 S to built very light electrogroups abble to be moved from place to place, rapidly fonctional. Our problem is that we will be working at hight altitude, more that 4'000 m and want to got the 100 cv time to time. What do you think about the idea to put a turbo, only to maintain the nominal engine power and no more?
Thank for your help.

    Something was lost in translation.
    "Electrogroups" ??? = Portable Electric Generator???

    If 100cv means 100 Horse-Power, remember that you are limited to 100Hp for only 5 minutes. 90Hp Continuous.

    If you are re-purposing a used 912, a Turbo is doable.
    If you are buying a new one, a 914 will probably be less expensive in the long run unless this is a labor of love and your time is free and you are in no hurry.

    Not a problem, It made me learn some French.

    Electrogroups >>> Groupe Ëlectrogène = Unit, Electric Generator
    CV = Cheval-Vapeur = Horse-Vapors >>> Horse Steam Power.

    I like it! :)
    Merci, Bill.
