Changing my oil inlet nipple

Hi all,
I was going to change my oil pump inlet from the nipple to the an fitting. I looked it up at Lockwood and they want $67 plus shipping.
Would I be able to use this?
8AN AN-8 To M14 x 1.5 (mm) Metric Straight Flare Male Fitting Adapter Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BS3DPBK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_wOj7Cb095TSPM
It's the same exact fitting except in aluminum.
Is this why I can't find anyone using anything other than the rotax part?
Any thoughts would be appreciated
