I second what Bill said. Absolutely not the balance tube.

They are talking about the Fuel Distribution Block (P/N 851328) which happens to mount onto the compensating tube.

Bill,
And that is why I was confused about the installation instructions KitFox provided. The compensation tube is meant to balance the fuel/air mixture, manifold pressure, between the two intake manifolds. To clarify a few more points this is an experimental amateur-built (EAB) and does not have a Rotax fuel distribution block. The builder ran a fuel line from the pump to a brass T and then split the hoses off to each carb.

The Rotax fuel distribution block is nice because it incorporates the two carb lines, the return line, and a pressure-sensor fitting. They designed it to clamp to the outside of the compensating tube but it has no connection thereto.

I cannot find that part number (P/N 851328) in the Illustrated parts catalog. Is there a newer part number, or was there a typo?
Thanks.
