Thanks for the info above , this has proved most useful. I think the temperatures that the housing needs to be raised to need to be looked at again. I had toget my housing upto 250C to get the thread lock to soften and even then needed a blowlamp directly onto the housing to get it to budge.Threads cleaned up really nicely as long as you are gentle. Got there in the end.
