Just checking the readouts on my 914 via laptop, noticed the air box temp reading 18C  but should have been 10C , is there any way of resetting the value, engine is running fine , got nearly 1800 hrs up

How do you know the temp should have read 10C ?

I have a seperate temp probe in the air box and that displays on a digital readout on the panel

Are you sure that the separate air probe is accurate? I'm not saying it is inaccurate, but I tried installing a second temp probe (identical to original sensor) but was ultimately unable to calibrate it properly with my Dynon Skyview, even with Dynon's assistance.

Is the second probe the same make/model as the original? If it is, you could swap connectors to test the sensors.

I’m pretty sure it’s accurate, sitting in the hangar the temperature is 10C, which is what the temperature is now, the engine is cold so the temp inside  the air box would be the same , but running the program it indicates 18C , the map gauge reads 39 at take off, full throttle, so I guess it’s not worth mucking around with

I haven’t seen any way to calibrate or change the airbox temp probe. If it is inaccurate you might want to check the resistance on it to see if the sensor is good.
