    If I wanted an analog instrument, the one on the owners video with the dual needles looks ideal.  As I mentioned, I wasn't looking for an instrument to do the sync.  I just happened across the units I mentioned because I was looking at an HVAC project.  I did end up ordering the Klein unit, so next time I need to do a sync I'll certainly try it just to see how it compares.

    To answer the question no one else seems to have <g>, the HVAC differential pressure tester doesn't work.  I tried it when I doing my most recent sync, and it just jumps around positive and negative, so not much help.  Again, I didn't buy it to use for this.  I was just curious if it would work.

    The reason the listed digital gauge does NOT work is that it is a DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE meter - it has a single sensor with a positive pressure port and a negative pressure port - thats not what you need to measure to balance two carbs - you need to measure the Absolute pressure in each induction tube and compare - this needs a meter with TWO sensors...
