Ignition Coil Wire removal
Trying to get the wires out of the ignition coil and can't seem to do it. I can only turn the wire about a turn and it doesn't release. Is there a special way to get it out? Didn't want to pull too hard.
Thanks.
Bob

The wires on the coil are on a threaded prong, it will take up to 5 or 6 turns to release. When you go to reinstall be sure to cutback the wire about 2 or 3 mm to get a clean connection. Put some lithium grease on the wire before you install.
Cheers

Keep turning. The coil has a screw that goes into the core of the wire. You will need to replace the wire with a new one afterwards.
