    To check the instrument.
If you take away the cable from the sender and put in a resistans of 48 Ohm betveen the cable and ground, you vill have 2,0 Bar on the instrument when turning the power on.

    Bosse!
For a 10 Bar instrument, I think you mean 2 Bar!

Yes you are right. And in Swedish 10 Kg and 2 Kg.

    Everybody,
    This was not easy.
First I had to admit a mistake.
My house number is 810 809, not was I said before! It is read at the bottom of the house.
This should mean that the sensor is 1/8NFT.
Ok, I have no taken a look at it. It is not so easy to see if it is M10x1 or 1/8 NFT, I will say you can't just look at it and see what it is.
M10x1 means diam should be 10mm and it means that for one turn it should move 1 mm. That makes it not easy to try to put a nut on it beacuse the "normal" pitch is 1,5 (mm) for a 10mm bolt. A pitch with 1 mm is "fine" pitch.
I then used a vernier caliper, at a glance I can see that thread is about 10 mm. If I then measure at the tip I can see that it is about 9,6mm, and near the grip with six edges, about 10,2. This means that it is tapered and not straight! I also look at the distance between 5 threads and it's not 5 mm, it is about 4,5 mm (excuse my comma instead of dot, it's Swedish standard ;-))
Some other things about the sensor, at the electric connection, you can read VDO, Made in Germany.
At the grip with six edges, you can read this on three edges: 29/12, 607, 0-10 bar. 0-10 is imprinted above "Bar" and only the lower half of 0-10 can be seen on my unit.
One thing which I don't understand. Bosse in this forum has a gyrokopter that is manufactured before mine and he is sure that he have bought and mounted one with M10x1!
Another thing is that the swedish agent for Rotax only have one sensor to sell, part no 956 413 and that is M10x1!
I hope i have made this more clear in some way.
Anyhow i have corrected a mistake I made!

This is true because I put a new 912 engine on a plane and it was a March 2012 and it is 1/8" NPT. So how old is the engine? If it was prior to June 2012 it is a 1/8" NPT and if it is later in the summer then a M10X1.

If you are real close to the line where the split in time then check the serial number on the SI. Here are the two pages that you need out of the SI.
