About a month ago I received a brand new aircraft with a brand new 912iS.
The part number had been changed by someone crossing out the last digit 0 and adding a 1.
I heard a rumor after Sun & Fun that Rotax realized there was a problem with the iS gearbox gear mesh after about 400 hours of operation.
Any verification or others hear anything on gearbox 400 hour gear mesh problem and did I get an upgraded one with a new part number. Any thoughts would be helpful.
