I don't understand your question at all. What does ease of flying an airplane have to do with the type of fuel pump its engine uses. Also every flying machine and I don't care what it is, can kill you if you don't have a clue or any training in it. You have to get proper training and learn to fly and become a pilot to fly anything. Including an Icon A5 or be ready to die.As Piper said back in the day. If flying was so easy that even a monkey could do it, we would have a bunch of monkeys flying around.

Rotax iS Fuel Pumps are having problems right now. I have returned 5 by now. Brand new out of the box and they can't produce the PSI to start the engine. Really bad show and no bulletin about it yet. I am looking to completely do fuel pumpth 915iS and just get credit from Rotax.

I heard rumors like this quite a lot. Is this pump that un-reliable? Because we need to understand that this pump is used in aircraft like for example ICON A5 which claims that it can even be flown reliably for a first-time user who never had any flight experience before CMIIW?

Low output doesn't mean low reliability. Maybe a batch of pumps from the mfg produced lower than rated output or maybe the fuel or electrical system is causing it. But reliability means it doesn't fail. Maybe it's just not as strong as promised but that doesn't indicate that it has a higher chance of seizing.

Also the ICON A5 is infamous for advertising that it's a flying jet ski and is super easy to use and that caused some fatalities. Their advertisements showed people doing dangerous stunts and flying very low altitudes doing steep banks and people emulated that and died. No fatalities for the ICON have been caused by engine failure and the plane is physically reliable.

I had Three failures within 9 months of installation and first start. Pump Two failed initially, then next two failures were of Pump One.

It is my understanding that the problem has since been identified and rectified, and mine has been replaced with the rectified product after the third failure.
