After a couple of test flights with our brand new Sling Tsi we have a generator B failure. During last test flight there was no problem but the next day the alternator B did not switch on after a couple of seconds as normal. The engine runs normal, no charging of battery and negative Amps.

No lane A & B warning lights . When switching the ECU backup switch on Gen A charging a few Amps as it should. 

If I disconnect the alternator B to measure voltage on the yellow cables the engine stops running.

Can I start the engine with ECU backup switch on?

Maybe someone had same problem and possible solution
