If only it were that easy. Most airports I go to only have 100LL.

That's why I carry 3 x 20L fuel bladders - fetch 98 Ron from the nearest fuel station.😈

OK, you do you. 😂 Also, in my area it's unsafe to use mogas at high altitudes or warm days between September 15 and June 1. Winter blend is too volatile.

Oh well, thats life.
I do understand that much of N America has the petrol "winter blend' issue. Dont seem to hear about similar problems in Europe/similar climate areas. Wonder why?
Could you, when needed, mix/blend AvGas with ULP to improve/reduce volatility, lead staining, frequency of service and gearbox inspection/clean.
The altitude thing - not really relevant to Australia (highest Mt 7,310'), however I do know of Rotax 912 ULS climbing to 12,500' , on 98 RON without any issues.😈

It is somewhat of an issue in Europe, where some countries limit the use of mogas to a max altitude of 10,000'. In the US the RVP of mogas is regulated by the states, so it can vary from state to state. States like California have tighter regulations, so their mogas is not as volatile as it is in my state. I suspect the regulations in Europe are closer to those in California than they are to those in my location, the southeast US.
Yes, you can blend Avgas and mogas, and I do regularly. But even a 50/50 blend may not be sufficient if you inadvertently end up with winter blend on a warm day.
I have a 915iS and I often fly in the high teens regardless of terrain because I get better speeds up there, thanks to the turbo. I have actually flown above FL180 with mogas and it wasn't a problem, because it was a cold winter day. But again, if you end up with winter blend on a warm day (very common in the SE US), you can run into trouble.
