Perfect, as I assumed based upon your reply.
So, i am pretty sure the stator and the alternator can be tested to see which one is bad? Changing both since they both are in the same/similar spot seems to be the best fix?
The alternator looks like about $1200 (don't need to replace the mounting hardware and wires) and the stator looks like another $1000, the labor would be a nominal add doing them together versus one at a time, would this be a correct assumption?
