I'm wondering if you have any information on a 447UL engine, serial number 3910097.  It came with a partial airplane kit I purchased.

Hi. From heritage I got a Rotax 501. Unfortunately the SN plate was not on the engine.

We found one in the workshop. According the marks it fits to the crankcase.

Someone took it of. Wondering why...

We can´t ask the passed owner.

    However. The plate shows 5014568

    Any information about?

    Thank you.

The Rotax 501 is hard to find certified Rotax 2 stroke engine that was mostly designed for motor gliders in the late 70s! We have some of the oldest records available and we cant find that S/N in our database. That said, we do have a repair manual available for the 501 if you wish to have a copy.
