I need the "Airworthiness Directives" for 912ULS to prepare for my AW inspection by the FAA.
Searching the web, I find one site with 20 pages of ADs. Is there an easy way to find these ADs based on my engine SN and date of purchase.

OR, can someone just tell me if any apply to serial number 6781159???

Thanks to anyone who has previously done this search.

    Hi Jack,

Here is the link to this forum site for all letters and bulletins.
No AD's. Rotax doesn't have an AD.

    Jack,
AD's only apply to a product with a type certificate, the 912ULS does not have a Type Cert.
I think what the FAA wants is a list of AD's on a similar product; the 912-S2.
    Here is the link: http://www2.airweb.faa.gov/Regulatory_and_Guidance_Library/rgAD.nsf/MainFrame?OpenFrameSet
    Search by "Make"
Rotax has changed the company name so you need to search both BRP--POWERTRAIN GMBH & CO KG and Bombardier-Rotax GmbH
Sorry, you cant search AD's by serial number. You have to look at each AD to see if it is applicable.
I see 10 AD's for the 912S2. I have made a quick list for you, I looked at the first AD and filled in the "action" You do the rest. (no, I will not be doing this for anyone else unless I get a credit card number first :cheer: ). As the 912ULS serial numbers are not listed in the AD you need to go to the UL Service Bulletin to see if your engine is effected. In the example AD 2011-12-04 is from SB-912-058. In this case your serial number is not applicable so the "action" is "n/a by engine s/n"

    Hi Rob,

Are these certified 912 AD's the same more or less as the UL SB's?

When he posted the question I totally missed the issue of the certified 912's.
I was just narrow focused on the UL & ULS.

The FAA basically copies the SB in most cases but sometimes they put some more details or requirements in the AD. They usually do a good job of understanding the issue and addressing it.
