quick question, I took the Repainman Light sport class with Roger...GREAT Class and learned a ton and had fun.

My question is I am doing an Annual on my Revolt Trike and am a bit confused on AD's. Airworthiness Directives. Maybe I am doing something wrong but am I supposed to be able to find AD's for the Rotax 912uls?

Do AD/s apply to Experimental Aircraft?

Or are their so few of trikes that the FAA doesn't ever put out an AD for them?

I am sure I am missing something i need to know but not sure what that is. How do I mention in the Logbook that I checked for AD's and or do i not mention them if there are none?

Would i say something Like No Airworthiness Directives apply at this time. Or All Airworthiness directives are current? I think you get the idea of what I am looking for.

You will not find ADs, but you will find Service Bulletins.
At the top of this page click on SUPPORT/BULLETINS followed by SERVICE BULLETINS.
    That will get you started.
There are multiple ways of searching for the Bulletins that apply to your engine.

Thanks Bill. I did find those. So in my annual condition inspection do you think i have to mention anything about AD's? I have some examples where Airplane Mechanics mentioned them. I am wondering is the Experimental the Reason I won't find AD's or is it just the limited amount of my type of aircraft that I wouldn't find them.

If it is an EXPERIMENTAL, then essentially, YOU are the Manufacturer and any AD would apply to only that One Aircraft. So you will never see an AD for your aircraft.

The engines are in serial production so the manufacturer will issue Service Bulletins on what is essentially an Aircraft Component.
