I ordered and received the syringe kit parts from California Power Systems. (They were back ordered for awhile, but shipped on 12/3/14.)

We do have the syringe kits in stock. You can purchase them for less than $6.00 from our website here: https://www.cps-parts.com/search/search.php?s=15-08668

We do have floats, and gaskets in stock right now and more on the way. The parts will be covered as special warranty claims from Rotax until a new part comes out. Please call me directly if you have any questions.

    Mr. Wise,

Please keep in mind that it takes time for Rotax to get the parts distributed. Their main concern is getting the information out and for safety's sake waiting for parts to be distributed before getting the bulletin out is not the best move.

We're doing our best to keep the floats and gaskets in stock, so please give us a call if you need anything.

It has now been over two months since the inspection requirements have been out. Perhaps I have missed the updates from Rotax on the progress of fixing the float issue.

While I understand it takes some time to get new parts manufactured, It should not take much time to update the users of their products on progress (or lack thereof) of correcting the problem. I understand that the carbs are outsourced to Bing, but certainly Rotax has been in contact with them to determine progress.

Michael, I appreciate the information you obtained from Bing, perhaps the replacements are going to be out anytime. :)

I had a friend call them (Bing). They said they were being shipped. Then a comment that sounded odd. If they aren't here soon then next month. Then why would they say they were en-route?

There is a solution and coming soon.
