    Roger,

I'm new to the forum...just setting my new engine up (hasn't been started yet) having found that carb floats need to be replaced due to recall. I would like to convert (at the same time) to the mushroom oil pressure relief set up. Would you direct me or post required part numbers to effect change. Thanks..

    Ric

    Edit: sorry..it's a 912uls in a RV-12 e-lsa

    Hi Ric,

Since this is a new engine I'm pretty sure you have the new style plug screw with the hollowed out hex head center. Your engine is new so no use in replacing the spring. So the only part you need is the mushroom to replace the ball bearing. The Part number for that is
    857-230.
When you install it the dry thread torque value on the plug screw is 25nm (19ft/lbs or 228 in/lbs). If there is oil on the threads then the wet torque is 11.2 ft/lbs (135 in/lbs).

    Hope this helps.
