I think Wang Shu means what qualification tests are done after assembling an overhauled engine?
-Oil purge including lifter test after short idle run.
    -Warm up engine
    -ignition "mag check"
-Break-in procedure carried out in 5 min "steps" at listed RPM settings.all parameters checked
-Performance check. 5 min full power run to check horsepower & all parameters recorded and checked. Followed by 5 min steps of 500rpm segments, lowering RPM to 3500rpm
    -Cooling down run
    - Stop engine and check for any leaks
-Cut open and section oil filter

    Excellent.
After TBO / overhauling, testing of engine is required on dynamo meter.?
Or else any other qualifications procedure? Like testing with propeller

Where can we find the Break-In Procedure for the 912/914 engines?
I have looked in the Line, Heavy, and Operators Manuals for the 912/914 engines.
