Engine overhauled

    You're right it doesn't looked like it's been overhauled or had the case split. Looks like the wrong sealant for the gearbox to. All the dirty oil stuff looks old and never cleaned off. The magnetic plug isn't safety wired and neither are the exhaust springs and no silicone on the springs. Take a close look at the hoses and see if all look new.

    Roger Lee, Hi, after overhauling , what type of QUALIFICATION tests are required for 914/912 Engine.?

    No special qualification. Do a really good oil purge ( I'm paranoid so I usually do 2) and run it and make sure right up front that engine pressure and the like are all good.
