    Hi there.
I would like some help in your suggesting in a video of a way to remove the white corrosion that occurs on the metal surface around the gearbox area of a 912 after a winter in a draughty damp hangar!

Having spend several hours last year over a few days testing every electrical component on resistance hoping it was not the ignition modules causing our intermediate but degenerating starting problems; (enter rant stage left: Monopolised, overtly expensive to replace and inaccessible for the replacement of a couple of pounds worth of poorly chosen and inaccessible components, second only to the carb rubber design!); which it did turn out to be. I was going to suggest a video on testing and diagnosis of the ignition circuit and modules.

However I see Daniel Leach got there first, so I second his nomination, even if I don't win.

Second suggestion; how to change the lord mounts on sub frame without removing the engine or risk bending the sub frame.

    Regards
    Colin Hannigan

I would like to see a video of the procedure (generic)for the 5 Year Rubber Replacement of the Rotax 912 engine. This could be of just an engine (not installed in any airframe) and go step by step from Fuel, to Coolant, to Lubrication, to what else.

Paying attention to the various do's, don'ts, and what to look for's in each area. An example is how to identify a "Teflon Fuel Hose".
