I think it would be beneficial to Rotax two stroke owners to see a video or videos on how to decarbonize their two strokes.

How about a video covering the differences in the care and feeding of the 912 series of engines versus the GA Continentals and Lycomings and especially the "why"'s. For example, oil change schedule, compression test, cooling differences, carb heat/carb ice, operating RPM's, fuel types, etc.

I love the thoroughness of your videos and the attention to detail. Every aspect of the subject seems to be addressed.

    Cheers,

Hi. It would be nice to see a video of how to disassemble a rotax 582 so as to perform a decarbon as per manteinance schedule.
    Thanks

I would like to see more coverage of maintenance issues with older 912's like we all have, along the lines of the one on purging the oil system, not so much heavy sales pitch for iS's. So,

    - how to do on-condition inspection of hoses and rubber parts (esp. for US experimental users with no specific regulatory requirement to meet)
    - how and why to use a suspension (ring) mount rather than a bed mount
    - how to make basic ignition and charging system checks
    - how to remove cyls and decarbon pistons/rings

Since the introduction of the 912 iS there have been a number of updates and upgrades. The most significant of these is the introduction of the 912 iS Sport. Since this involves substantial hardware modifications I think it would be instructive to show the physical changes necessary to make the transition. A side by side comparison of the two engines would be helpful for those still in the building process so that the physical differences can be taken into account. Also, specific relative performance data could be shown as well.
